What is wrong with the dating? It fits within what is known about the Natufian culture. It is not as if they are making any sort of radical or outlandish claim.

Regardless, it is clear that the article that we are commenting upon was written for broad appeal. The details you are seeking would doubtless appear in one of the peer reviewed archelogical journals.

Very interesting find and post. Thanks. One question remains – does the fact that her burial shows evidence of shamanic burial prove that she was a shaman or rather that she was a high dignitary buried by a shaman?

The title of this video got my attention. After I watched it, I can see that whoever tagged this video with the words “curing addiction” doesn’t appear to understand what the word cure means. If I am cured of my addiction it means that I am no longer addicted to the substance. I could take the substance and would no longer experience the cravings, withdrawals, etc. From what I understand, this drug, Ibogaine, takes away the cravings and the withdrawals, but I heard nothing about it clearing the way for a person to continue to use drugs. Perhaps it is true – I just didn’t hear any reference to that.

Also, I have great skepticism about treating drug addictions with another drug. How many doses are required? What are the long-term side affects? If this drug really does work and patients only have to take a few doses and then never have to take any more, I can almost guarantee the FDA will NOT back it. The only drugs the FDA would back are the type that people have to continue to take, the kind that only “treat” a person’s symptoms, and the kind that will definitely NOT “cure” anybody.

As a person who has recovered from alcoholism, I will be watching the developments of this pursuit. If the FDA turns them away – it probably works!

As to the person that left the above comment three years ago…this person has absolutely no understand of the condition, and since this NT…if indeed this person really is one…has no place on placing this comment on this page, and therefore has already shown their biases and prejudice to the auties of this world…so, please Anonymous…your comments have no place in this forum…you are already an offensive person…and an insult to the humanity…so start working on your own people skills before passing judgment on others….

I’d like to see a study done on the milk to see if ANY of the chemicals in hemp are present, and if so in what quantity if i was a Swiss cattle farmer.

It seems as if these blisters are caused more from heat than anything else… why not just use a ‘water pipe’? And I’m sure the water the smoke is going through helps to pull some of the particulates out as well.
